Professional Flexibility
Symphonie Consulting is a unique type of consultancy. We build our project teams with seasoned professionals engaged on a per-project, as-needed basis. Affiliated Experts work only on projects as opportunities arise and as agreed to.
Moreover, Affiliated Experts are free to maintain other work obligations including employment at other companies, business ventures, or independently contracted work, provided that said obligations do not conflict with our projects or client relationships. So yes, you might be able to treat this Symphonie Consulting affiliation as a "moonlighting" or "side gig" while you maintain your day job.*

Hours & Compensation
Affiliated Experts are engaged, and compensated, on a per-project, as-needed basis. They are 1099 subcontractors for Symphonie Consulting, not traditional W2 employees.
Hours worked through Symphonie Consulting may be none, occasional, part-time, or full-time - depending entirely on the needs of consulting engagements that arise and what is mutually agreed upon beforehand.
Compensation is based solely on a mutually agreed upon hourly rate per client-billable hour. As a 1099 contractor, no other benefits are offered. You're compensated fairly if/when you work on a client consulting project.

Whether you're on an active project or not, becoming an Affiliated Expert means that we'll include on our website your professional credentials such as:
- Professional headshot
- Areas of professional interest and expertise
- Bios & resume information
- Client project portfolio
All information about you made available to clients or to the public (e.g., websites, social media) will be pre-approved by you beforehand.
