Viren Ahuja, AIA
Co-founding Partner
An accomplished leader, Viren has led over 75 consulting engagements related to envisioning, planning, and implementation of direction-setting strategies. He bridges business and operations and connects deeper with the purpose of the organization. Viren is equal parts creative strategist, analytical thinker, organizational coach, and change enabler. No matter what the context, he works to develop core stories, envision new futures, align teams around a shared purpose. Viren creates powerful visual expressions, and identifies purposeful metrics and processes to ensure strategies are translated into meaningful results.
Viren has a Master's Degree in Community & Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati. He is an active member of the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Viren resides in the San Francisco metro area.
Mike Arend, MHA, EDAC, PPMC
Co-founding Partner
As a seasoned, results-oriented healthcare leader with a 30+ year professional track record, Mike brings a unique blend of expertise in consulting, operations, strategic planning, and facility and business development. Mike is a strong strategist, provocative thought leader, and catalyst for positive change with knowledge to effectively bridge patient experience, operations, business planning, technology, and facilities. He has worked for, or consulted with, over 40 healthcare organizations.
Mike holds a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). His credentials include an Evidence-based Design Accreditation & Certification (EDAC) and a Principles of Practice Management Certificate (PPMC).
Mike resides in the Minneapolis metro area.
Terry Lawrence, MBA, CCEP
- Senior Advisor
Terry serves as a Senior Advisor to Symphonie Consulting in the areas of business development and our Operational Transformation service. He contributes on select client projects on an ad-hoc, as-needed basis.
Terry has 30 years experience in operational leadership for major healthcare systems and private independent physician practice. He is a dynamic and results-oriented leader with extensive experience in all aspects of financial management, business development, sales and marketing, operations, ethics and compliance, lean and continuous improvement and administration. Terry has a strong track record of streamlining and standardizing processes, orchestrating turnarounds, positioning organizations for long-term success, and new facility design and construction.
Terry has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Cardinal Stritch University. His credentials include a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification.
